Thanks to everyone who voted to make the Lizard Lounge The best karaoke bar on Long Island in 2006.We won. With 160,000 songs we have the largest song selection in the world (yes!). But it is not just having a monster library that matters.The perfect sound, the ambience and of course the fantastic people that are our customers & friends all contributed to making it the best karaoke lounge.

We do not use laptops for a show as we do not believe in half the music or only half the quality. Laptops use severely compressed music losing quality. We only use CD & Cdg's. And we do not illegally download pirated music. We pay for all our CD & Cdg's. This way the manufacturers will continue to put out more music and not go out of business. In the past year, 3 of the top 5 Karaoke Disc manufacturers have gone out of business due to piracy causing low disc sales. If you believe in quality music, and if you want to encourage a company that legally buys all their music, please support our gigs. And please don't believe imitators claiming to have 150,000 songs when in reality they have no more than a few thousand songs. No one on the planet has more karaoke songs than Jammin Entertainment! We can prove that we have over 7000 discs and 160,000 songs and all of them paid for legally. Can they? *Please beware, when you give your own karaoke disc (to sing off of), to these unscupulous laptop operators, they will copy your disc into their laptop without your permission and share it amongst all of them. Thus adding to their pirated collection, and causing loss of revenue to the karaoke manufacturers!

Jammin' Entertainment is Long Islands premier entertainment company. All our mobile systems are put together, tested and constantly monitored and upgraded by a professional licensed sound engineer. We do not use tincan amateur systems or home audio systems that many so called DJ's/KJ's are trying to run shows with.

Now hiring Karaoke Hosts

All our karaoke gigs are mostly in Suffolk County which are of a 4 hour duration in various bars, restaurants & night clubs. You will pick up the equipment from a central location, go to the gig, setup, run a 4 hour show, breakdown the equipment and return the equipment same night. No holding equipment overnight. You will be paid cash the very same night. No experience needed, if you are smart enough to hook up a VCR or a DVD player to a TV, you are OK for this job. The rest, we will train you. Just bring a good attitude with you! Initially you will be assigned a gig, one night a week and go to 2 nights depending on your performance and our requirements. Usually most of the gigs are from 9 to 1, give or take 30 mts. 1) Be a Suffolk county resident or Eastern Nassau resident. 90% of our gigs are in Suffolk County.

2) Be able to lift equipment.

3) Have own and reliable transportation.

4) Be totally reliable, responsible and punctual.

5) Be a non drug user, non smoker (or if you are a smoker, be able to not smoke for 4 hours during the duration of the show), not be a heavy drinker (as you cannot legally operate a vehicle with more than 0.08 BAC, you cannot operate or transport our equipment either with more than 0.08 BAC)
