| How come some karaoke discs are only CD's and not CDG's? And I often see this with broadway songs. Is it because the show or soundtrack hasn't released the permission? And why wouldn't they. It just seems kind of pointless to put out a karaoke CD without graphics. Specifically, I am currently interested in getting a Dreamgirls CDG, but I can't find out. There was a CD out, and a second CD has come out. So there are currently 2 karaoke CD's out for Dreamgirls, and I'm frankly afraid that there will not ever be a CDG. I am almost ready to just buy the non graphics and memorize the words. What do you think? Will one ever come out? Should I wait? Thanks |

Ok GREAT question; Often the writers of the songs don't want to release the track to reproduced. For some reason the broadway songs are often a victim of this. Maybe they just feel only certain people should be entitled to sing their songs....I'm not sure why they would not release the songs, because they will get More royalties when they release it for something like karaoke tracks. Also it usually has to do with $$$$. I'll give you an example:
Disney never NEVER allowed their songs to go on to karaoke cdg's. Everytime any company tired to put out a disney song, Disney sued them and they removed the song. After a while when Disney noticed how much $$$ could be earned from karaoke cdg's, they made their own line and released all the disney songs. So it had to do with $$$ for them. Some artists will release the rights to make a song available, then after a while they restrict the song, and then the cdg its on has to be done without that particular song on it.
As for the Dream girls songs, i'm sure even if they don't release the songs some company will put them out without the rights, its just a matter of time before its done. So hang in there they'll be available soon. |

| It's true, the later legends aren't so bad. There are some companies I absolutely love though, like Priddis Pro. |

hi Lili217, i checked more than 1 track on that cdg, i couldn't hear any of the problems your getting.......? I listened to about 4 different tracks......? I don't know sometimes certain players do make different cd's and cdg's play and sound different. If you can give me specific tracks and the exact time (like 2:42 of the 3rd track) so i can hear that exact spot on the cdg. we'll get to the bottom of this.  |

Hi all , i make a template using artisteer software , but theres something i wounder how can i do it ,
i want display the header picture only in the frontpage , when i click on any link the header must not showed .. i know there is thread in this fourm had talked about this issue , but i didnt see it ..
and i know its can be made by inserting the header in a module ...but HOW ??

Ive been wondering about this for a long time. Ive noticed that when I put up a link its just the link, you know the thing that appears in the little http box at the top of the screen.
But some people have way of changing that. You see some places where a guy says "Look Here," and when you click on "here" it takes you to that place. Does that make any sense?
Im just wondering how thats done. |
